Indian Film Festival of Ireland is all set with its 5th Edition this year in September for lovers of Indian Cinema across the world.

The festival is set to start on September 19 and go on till September 22, the weekend will showcase some of the Indian Film Industry’s best movies. Considering the country produces over 1,000 movies a year, the choice is pretty varied, but the festival will, as always, focus on four categories for filmmakers: Director in Focus, Star in Retrospective, the Debut Director and the Indian Diaspora Director.

During the course of the  festival, IFFI will play host to discussions with the visiting film directors, as well as the writers, while also playing some of the best Indian films, both old and new.

Queen, Shahid, Bhag Milkha Bhag, Chennai Express, Mardaani, Gulaab Gang are some of the films to be screened at the festival.

@movies will be the focal point of the screenings, while some will also take place in the Irish Film Institute, DIT, DCU, and the Chester Beaty Library.

Here’s the first teaser of the festival released by the festival committee.
