People like Govind Nihalani and R.M.Rao Sir have been previous recipients of the award and they are legends in their own way. Being chosen on the same platform as them makes me very proud. Also it’s an award that is selected by a committee comprising a completely technical crew. It’s a great honor when a crew that understands the techniques involved in the craft of cinematography selects you and recognizes your work and contribution towards Indian cinema. It makes it all the more special. “
